‘Pink‘ design to raise funds for ‘Pool of Life’
A Breast Cancer Survivors’ Dragon Boat Team based at Queen’s Dock in Liverpool (charity number 1111599). For each ‘pink‘ mug sold, £1 will be donated to the club. Pool of Life website
Founder of Hope Rocks, Kay Murphy, received her own diagnosis of breast cancer completely out of the blue in 2016 and has spent the last four years tackling a gruelling programme of treatment. Completing her active treatment in July 2020, she’s now doing great and is a very proud and active member of the ‘Pool of Life’. However, all their training and fund-raising have been on hold since March and with Kay’s work as a wedding Celebrant also hugely affected, she wanted to do something to help. Using her creativity to come up with the design, she’d love you to help her get the crew back on the water by sending a pink heart to someone you are thankful for.
