I’m Kay
Founder of Hope Rocks, Kay Murphy, was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in November 2016. Almost immediately she began a gruelling schedule of treatment, enduring months of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgeries, including a mastectomy and reconstruction. Cancer had spread through her lymph nodes too, but further scans showed her organs and bones were unaffected. Thankfully, this remains so today.

When Covid hit in March 2020, stopping the world in its tracks, Kay’s work as an Independent Wedding Celebrant also came to a grinding halt. Loving her work, sadly all the gorgeous ceremonies she would have been writing and performing were postponed. So she’s putting her creative talents to good use…creating designs for a new range of mugs featuring heart-centred messages…sharing love, appreciating friendship and celebrating life. Kay prints and presses all the mugs by hand in a studio at her home in the north of England and they are available to buy online here at Hope Rocks!
Staying Strong Together
The mugs are white ceramic and are supplied in a white presentation box. Also included is a small gift card on which you can write your message. Every mug posted will be packed in a smashproof box.
